Meet Marie

Hello, I'm Marie Cavanagh, glass artist, studio founder, and the heart behind Fired Works. For nearly 20years I've been captivated by the magic of fused glass, the way colour, light, and heat combine to create something beautiful and fascinating. What started as a personal passion has grown into a studio and workshop experience I'm incredibly proud to share with others.

The Studio

Fired Works is based at 28b Market Place, Chalfont St Peter, SL9 9DU a small creative space designed to inspire. Whether you're joining one of our in person workshops or picking up a make at home kit, you'll find a welcoming environment where creativity is encouraged and no experience is necessary.

We believe everyone deserves a moment to slow down, get creative, and make something beautiful. At Fired Works, our mission is to spark your creativity and give you a genuine escape from the everyday. Glass art is endlessly surprising, and we love watching that surprise light up our guests faces.

The Experience

Our workshops are designed to be relaxed, personal, and fun. Marie leads every session with a hands on approach guiding you through each step while leaving plenty of room for your own creative instincts. From beginners to seasoned glassies, everyone leaves with something they're proud of.
